Most of us do not talk about our successes or even those of our parents or fore parents. It’s not because we are ashamed or unable to express ourselves. Sometimes it’s can be because we or others may think we are boasting or something to that effect.
We seldom read about success stories of African Caribbean and Africans in the local or national newspaper. It often appears as though people of this heritage do not contribute to the local and national as a whole.
